Floor Plan Artwork for signage in Middleton Hall, The University of Hull's flagship building.
The University required maps on their signage which had to match the style of other maps across campus, such as in the nearby library.
The plans use the same line thicknesses, colours and overall style as the existing artwork, however, unique items needed to be shown such as the seating and stage area. These were given a special colour, in-keeping with the style, but informative enough to provide information to the visitors.
Features such as 'you are here' markers, entrance doors clearly marked and disabled access points are important aspects of floor plans which visitors need to know on their arrival.
