The Brief
To re-create information on a old leaflet into an interpretation panel design for walks around the Stinchar Valley in South Ayrshire, Scotland.
The Result
Clear walk titles and distances with good use of spacing, accompanied by existing illustrated map images to aid users in navigating the area.
The existing leaflet that was used as inspiration which felt cluttered and confusing. By setting the maps within the text, more balance and symmetry was achieved, making it more functional visually.
The sign also had to include sponsor icons and QR codes for transparency and to allow visitors to access more information.
