Urban plan showing the location of advertising space
Nuvo Suites wanted to sell advertising space on screens located on the roof of the hotel and required 2 maps to show their positioning to potential buyers.
The mapped area shows an area of Miami, FL, the hotel is shown and highlighted with an arrow, along with other main buildings, local green spaces, an the main roads.
The scaled-up version of the map is intended to highlight the main road, 107th Ave, and more importantly the location of the traffic lights, and thus the exposure that the screens will have when road users are stopped at the lights.
The style of the map was based on an example that was shown to the client which used a similar style for the buildings and grey-background colour. The cream used for the buildings and white for the roads meant a good contrast for the red arrows and traffic light icons.
