Detailed Dublin city centre base map for a travel guide book
Designed for a travel guide for the city of Dublin, the aim of this project was to create a detailed base map of the entire city.
This would then be added to throughout the book, with different information in the relevant section.
The style and colour palette for the map is based on the existing theme that was already present in the book design.
The approach to this project was to create a small area of the whole map in different styles to allow the client to approve the style he preferred. This made the larger detailed map much easier to work with, and required minimal revisions after the initial style approval meeting.
