Coralie is an independent photographer based in Leeds.
The Brief
For an established photographer, the brief was to design a logo on the theme of water, and to include a circle version for the purposes of social media.
The Result
The client was presented with several options based on the theme of water, and opted for simple version with small amount of colour, for maximum impact and contrast.
A full version of the logo was also created where the circle design sits inside the bold text, creating a link to the circular logo and maintaining the strength of the font and colour scheme.
The Process
The initial concepts centred around using a circular logo which could be used alongside the text, or in isolation, and still convey the theme of water that the client was looking for. Each of the options shown below uses two typefaces variations with different weight and case combinations.
The options were then focused on establishing the correct contrast between the text and icon, which was developed through several iterations and feedback from the client.
